Sub: Request for sanction of 20% HRA for left out stations like Bhavani- Reg

As per the 2011 census 20% HRA is sanactioned by the Government of India and the same has been extended to the concerned staff of BSNL.

The same has been granted to the staff working in Erode urban area  from 01.04.2015.

We learn that the Postal staff working in Bhavani have been granted 20% HRA. The staff working in our STR section of Bhavani also have been granted 20% HRA from 01.04.2015.

A request has already been made by our District Union to DGM(FINANCE) and AGM (ADMN) quoting the orders of Postal Authorities and Pay Slip of our STR staff working in Bhavani. They agrred to look into the matter.

20% HRA is allowed to the stations based on the population where it exceeds 5 lakhs.

ERODE (UA) has been sanctioned 20% HRA based on the population of following areas as per 2011 census.(A copy of the order issued by Government of India is enclosed herewirh)

ERODE UA has been decided for 20% HRA only taking into account of the above areas. Hence, our staff working in Bhavani and Kalingarayanpalayam are eligible for 20% HRA as per the orders issued by Government of India.

We request you kindly look into the matter and sanction 20% HRA for the satff working in BHAVANI and KALINGARAYANPALAYAM

from 01.04.2015.

WE also request you to kindly arrange for the same along with salary for the month of DECEMBER 2015.
